New Kitchen being fitted in the church hall
On Monday 24th October work is starting in the church hall to fit a new kitchen. This will hopefully be completed in about 2 weeks. During that time a temporary kitchen will be set up in the small hall which will have a sink, running cold water and a worktop to make tea and coffee. The counter area will be closed in so as children cannot get anywhere near the sink or kettles that are being used.
CHAT will be on Wednesday 26th October as usual between 2-4pm even though work is
going on in the hall kitchen, looking forward to seeing you there. Margaret and Dilys .
Church heating & Church hall heating
Our Gas & Electricity is on a fixed rate and is not up for renewal until November 2023. As a
PCC we have decided to have the church heating on as it gets colder, as it is needed.
Adult Confirmation Service at the Cathedral on Monday 21st November 2022 at 7pm
We have 12 adults from All Saints who have expressed an interest in being confirmed this year.
Please pray for them regularly as we meet each week at Calisa for our confirmation classes. The
meetings that we have left now are 3rd, 10th and 17th November. Thank you, Andrew & Adeyinka.
VESTRY HOUR – every Tuesday in Church from 7pm – 8pm
To book a Baptism or a Wedding or speak to a member of the clergy, please come to Vestry Hour which is held in the church every Tuesday, no appointment is necessary. Please use the wooden door to the left of the tower. You do not need to knock; just come in, take a seat and you will be seen privately in turn.
Shoe box appeal – Samaritan’s Purse
Shoe boxes are available at the back of church to take away and fill for this Christmas. These boxes are then transported across Europe and beyond to some of the poorest countries where children often receive them as their only present. Please take a box and fill one individually or as a family and bring them back to church.
Church acre – Community growing area and Apiary
Open Day on Saturday 19th November from 10am – 4pm. Entrance off Score Lane
Come along and see what is happening and get involved in planting, composting and Beekeeping. Opportunity to sign up and be a regular volunteer. Learn to become a Beekeeper.

The Children’s Society - house box holders

A big thank you to those who have and continue to support The Children’s Society. £605 was sent to the Children’s Society from the returned house boxes and from donations for 2021-2022. The donations received from the Christingle service raised £210. Thank you to those who gave. I will now be collecting in the house boxes for the period 2022-2023. Please return your named house box to church or contact me to collect the box from you. If possible please gift aid the money that you have raised if you do not already do so.
