A Collect for the Death of our Queen
Faithful and Loving God, we praise you and give you
thanks for the life of Elizabeth our Queen.
We thank you for her years of faithful Christian witness and sacrificial service. May she now know perfect peace in the place you have prepared for her, where there is no more suffering nor pain and where death is no more, among the blessed and the beloved.
Please comfort her family, our new King as he shoulders
the responsibility of Office as a grieving son, and our nation,
the British Commonwealth and all who share in our mourning.
This we ask in the name of Jesus our Sovereign God,
who with you and the Holy Spirit, reign world without end. Amen.

To write a message in the book of condolence, spend some time in quiet and to pray. Sunday 11th September – 9am – 12.30pm

Storytime is a group, run by volunteers from All Saints’ church, for pre-school children. Join us in the church hall, on Mondays (During term time), from 10am. For those who are not aware of story time, it starts with a story and involves lots of fun, crafts, teddies and action songs. It costs £2 per family.
Mother’s Union – Tuesday 13th September at 2pm in the church hall
Our main focus will be Queen Elizabeth II, patron of Mother’s Union, giving thanks for her faithfulness over so many years of service.
Friends and visitors are warmly invited to join us.

Pram Club – Thursday 15th September 2022 – 1.30pm – 3pm
Run by a group of volunteers from All Saints for pre-school children.
A time of play, craft and refreshments finishing with songs and a story. Join us in the church hall every Thursday afternoon. It costs £2 per family.
VESTRY HOUR – every Tuesday in Church from 7pm – 8pm
To book a Baptism or a Wedding or speak to a member of the clergy, please come to Vestry Hour which is held in the church every Tuesday, no appointment is necessary. Please use the wooden door to the left of the tower. You do not need to knock; just come in, take a seat and you will be seen privately in turn.

If you need a Secondary school form completing I will be doing this by appointments.

Adult Confirmation Service at the Cathedral on Monday 21st November 2022 at 7pm
If you are an adult and you would like to be confirmed or would like to know more please will you speak
to Andrew or Adeyinka. Thank you to those who have already spoken to us. We are going to have one
evening meeting at the end of September so everyone can meet each other, the date will be out for next
week. We will then meet 4 times leading up to the Confirmation service in November.
