Beeswax wraps make an excellent alternative to plastic wrapping for food. They can be used to wrap sandwiches or snacks and to cover food in the fridge. They are naturally hygienic and can be easily washed and reused. Give them a try! There are many online retailers and the eco group have recently been using ones made by a local small business, The Bishops’s Bees.
As restrictions are gradually being eased, many are being encouraged back to work and we are all trying to find our “new normal”, please consider (if you are able) walking or cycling as an alternative to the car, particularly on local and shorter journeys.
