Gas & Electricity – new fixed contract for church and hall
We have been insulated from large rises over the last 2 years but our fixed contract
finishes on 19th December. As a PCC we have agreed a new fixed contract for our
gas & electricity. The additional total cost per year will £7552 more than we are
currently paying. This is a significant increase and we do not want this to have a
negative impact on the current ministry of All Saints Childwall.
All members of the PCC that met on Monday night agreed that they would give an additional
amount of £50. If 150 individuals or families joined us in this initiative, we would cover the
cost of the new contract. Please prayerfully consider if you can join us and give an additional
amount by the end of January 2024. Any amount towards the increased cost of our energy
bill will obviously be very welcome. If you are a tax payer we are able to claim the tax back
which will increase the value of your gift.
Thank you very much – PCC of All Saints Childwall

Can you bring in a jar or two of jam, marmalade or spread.
Please leave them in the box in the porch.
Thanks again, Aidan Holmes.
World Mission Area
Tearfund, Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and Release International for Persecuted Christians
are All Saints Mission Partners who we support both financially and prayerfully.
Tearfund’s mission is to equip churches around the world today so that the 250 church
communities that they currently support are transformed and the people are empowered to
reach their God – given potential providing them with the means to adapt their farming
methods to provide food and an income for their families in today’s changing climate.
CAP is a U.K. Christian charity providing financial help to those who are struggling with debt and
have sort advice to become solvent. Many often find faith through the support and guidance
that they have received.
Release International for Persecuted Christians ministry is active in more than 25 countries
around the world working through local Christian partners to provide spiritual resources and
practical support to victims of persecution. This includes prayerfully, pastorally and practically
helping the families of Christian martyrs, prisoners of faith and their families.
We thank you Lord for their commitment to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our world today.
Amen. World Mission Area sub-Committee

would be prepared to occasionally offer lifts. Tea@2 is from 2pm until 4pm every third
Wednesday of the month. If you think that this is something you could do please contact Helen
Ford on 07950718759 or sign up on the list at the back of Church.

Please use the wooden door to the left of the tower. You do not need to knock;
