Church heating & Church hall heating
Our Gas & Electricity is on a fixed rate and is not up for renewal until November 2023. As a
PCC we have decided to have the church heating on as it gets colder, as it is needed.
HARVEST SOCIAL – 15TH OCTOBER 2022 – 7PM in the Childwall Abbey Function room.
We hope you can join us for our Harvest Social. We will be taking part in Tearfund’s BIG QUIZ event. Proceeds will support farmers in Nepal to respond to the climate change crisis. Adult Confirmation Service at the Cathedral on Monday 21st November 2022 at 7pm

We are going to meet each week at 7pm at Calisa coffee shop located at the Childwall triangle.
Our first meeting will be on Thursday 13th October at 7pm including a meal. We will then meet at 7pm at

VESTRY HOUR – every Tuesday in Church from 7pm – 8pm
To book a Baptism or a Wedding or speak to a member of the clergy, please come to Vestry Hour which is held in the church every Tuesday, no appointment is necessary. Please use the wooden door to the left of the tower. You do not need to knock; just come in, take a seat and you will be seen privately in turn.
School Forms – Secondary School Applications – last week to complete.
If you need a Secondary school form completing I am doing this by appointments.

STORYTIME – every Monday at 10am
Storytime is a group, run by volunteers from All Saints’ church, for pre-school children. Join us in the church hall, on Mondays (During term time), from 10am. For those who are not aware of story time, it starts with a story and involves lots of fun, crafts, teddies and action songs. It costs £2 per family.
Pram Club – every Thursday at 1.30pm – 3pm
Run by a group of volunteers from All Saints for pre-school children.
A time of play, craft and refreshments finishing with songs and a story.
Join us in the church hall every Thursday afternoon. It costs £2 per family.

Shoe box appeal – Samaritan’s Purse
Shoe boxes are available at the back of church to take away and fill for this Christmas. These boxes are then transported across Europe and beyond to some of the poorest countries where children often receive them as their only present. Please take a box and fill one individually or as a family and bring them back to church.
The Children’s Society – house box holders
A big thank you to those who have and continue to support The Children’s Society. £605 was sent to the Children’s Society from the returned house boxes and from donations for 2021-2022. The donations received from the Christingle service raised £210. Thank you to those who gave. I will now be collecting in the house boxes for the period 2022-2023. Please return your named house box to church or contact me to collect the box from you. If possible please gift aid the money that you have raised if you do not already do so.
