CARE FOR THE FAMILY
AUTUMN EVENTS Online, Free to view
Care for the Family events are always very good value, well presented, enjoyable, amusing, and tackle real issues in all aspects of family and other relationships. They are practical. You will not regret listening. DO NOT MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY.
The events on offer are all at 7.30pm and are as follows:
Raising Faith 6, 7, 8 October
Just fifty percent of children growing up in Christian homes will go on to have their own faith as adults. As parents, if we want to encourage them to find a faith that lasts, we need to model a faith that is real.
The presenters will share ideas to help you explore your children’s questions, encourage them to be connected in a church community, and inspire them to discover God in the everyday.
The Wisdom House 13, 14, 15 October
Rob Parsons, the founder of Care for the family, will unpack dealing with difficult people, being true to yourself, and pursuing your dreams. He will also unveil the single greatest killer of strong friendships.
Free to Be 21, 22, 23 October
The momentum of life can feel overwhelming. As women we may feel we’re constantly trying to balance home life, family, work, health and relationships. But as Christians our identity lies not in our roles and responsibilities but in Christ.
Free to Be will equip you with practical ideas, and challenge you to become bolder, braver and more confident about the future God has created for you.
Run the Race 10, 11, 12 November
In this new event, geared for men, Rob Parsons and others will explore the realities of what perseverance looks like for men today as they face obstacles and challenges.
Mum’s the Word 17, 18, 19 November
The moment you become a mum your life changes for ever. This event will celebrate motherhood. The presenters will talk about filling your emotional tank, instilling values in your children that will last a lifetime and the danger of comparison. You will come away feeling refreshed and encouraged.
Primary Parenting, building their future today 24, 25, 26 November
Every stage of parenting can be wonderful but each new development in a child opens the door to new considerations. There will no doubt be something you’re trying to work through right now. The presenters will take us through the ebbs and flows of parenting children up to the age of twelve.
